In a remarkable and inspiring mountaineering achievement, 9-year-old twin brothers Samraat Singh and Vardaan Singh from India have successfully trekked and reached the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, the world’s highest free-standing mountain, on 31st December 2025.
By reaching Uhuru Peak at an altitude of 5,895 meters, the twins have created history, becoming the youngest twin brothers to successfully trek Mount Kilimanjaro. Their achievement places them among the world’s most extraordinary young mountaineers.
The Mount Kilimanjaro expedition took place in Tanzania, Africa, from 26 December 2025 to 31 December 2025, culminating in a successful summit on 31 December 2025.
Accomplishing this feat at just 9 years of age is exceptionally rare. The trek demanded:
Proper high-altitude acclimatization
Strong physical endurance
Mental resilience and discipline
Careful planning and teamwork
Despite the challenges of reduced oxygen levels, long trekking hours, and changing weather conditions, Samraat Singh and Vardaan Singh successfully completed the Kilimanjaro trek, demonstrating determination, focus, and maturity well beyond their years.
The twins are no strangers to high-altitude adventures.
In 2023, at the age of 7, Samraat Singh and Vardaan Singh successfully completed the Everest Base Camp trek, one of the world’s most iconic and demanding high-altitude expeditions.
What made this journey even more special was that the twins completed the trek alongside their parents, highlighting a strong family bond and shared commitment to discipline, adventure, and perseverance.

Samraat Singh and Vardaan Singh are students of St. Francis School, Greater Noida West, India, currently studying in Class 4th – Ruby Section.
Their achievement demonstrates how academic education, physical fitness, discipline, and adventure can be effectively balanced when children receive strong support from both their family and school.
Their success serves as an inspiration to students, educators, and parents across India and beyond.
Located in Tanzania, Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro is globally recognized as the highest free-standing mountain in the world. Unlike mountain ranges, Kilimanjaro rises independently from the surrounding plains, making it one of the most unique and challenging treks globally.
Reaching Uhuru Peak (5,895 meters) requires:
Effective altitude management
Consistent physical stamina
Strong mental focus
Team coordination and careful planning
For children aged just 9 years, successfully trekking to the summit is nothing short of extraordinary.
Samraat Singh and Vardaan Singh come from a family that believes deeply in discipline, leadership, and goal-oriented growth.
